Cannot convert to SWF: SWFScout Error

When trying to preview or upload a tour, it is possible to see errors referring to SWFScout and saying that some file(s) cannot be converted to SWF. These errors are rare and only occur if your tour contains unusually large panoramic images (and even then, only if some other factors all came into play).






Fixing the error is easy. Just close your VisualTour Studio software then run the following routine.

http://www.VisualTour.com/downloads/SWFScoutError.exe

The routine will make sure that the needed files are in place and that Windows knows where to find them. You will then see a message indicating whether or not the routine succeeded.

After clicking OK/Finish, just start the VisualTour Studio software again and go back to what you were doing. You will now be able to preview or upload tours without incident or further errors.
