YouTube does not ask VisualTour which image to use for a video's representative photo, but they do have a setting that allows you (not us) a choice of three. They generally select one frame of the video from the beginning, one from the middle, and one from the end and give people that choice. This document will show you where it is so you can select the thumbnail image that you feel best represents the property video.
Start out by logging into your account at YouTube. The login option is in the upper right. ![]() Once you are logged in, you will click your account name toward the upper right and choose My Videos. ![]() You will see a list of your videos, and each one has a series of buttons. You will click the Edit button. ![]() If you scroll down, you will see a section on the left that shows three choices for the video's thumbnail image. Click the one you prefer. ![]() Now scroll down to the bottom and (still on the left) click Save Changes. ![]() Questions related to most parts of YouTube are probably best directed to YouTube's support staff, but if you have any questions related more to VisualTour's video creation and uploading to YouTube, VisualTour's support staff will be happy to assist during the hours of 8AM to 8PM Eastern on weekdays and 9AM to 6PM Eastern on Saturdays. The toll free number is 800-873-0700. |
