Default Renumbering Photos Online is Easier Than Ever!

Most parts of a tour can be edited even after the tour is online. One recent change is in how the sequence of the photos (scenes) is changed. In the past, if you wanted the 4th scene to become the 1st, you would renumber it as 1, but that would leave two scenes both labeled as scene 1, so you would have to take the existing scene 1 and renumber it to 2, take the existing 2 and renumber it as 3 and finally, take the existing 3 and renumber it to 4. That really is not such a bad thing when you have only a few scenes to renumber. If you needed to take the 26th photo and change it to position 2, that was a less convenient endeavor.

Now you can use decimal places! If you want to make that 26th photo the 2nd one, just renumber it as 1.5. It is now a photo that will be placed AFTER photo 1 but BEFORE photo 2. When you click SAVE, all the photos are renumbered to whole numbers again. If you need to squeeze in more than one photo, that is fine. Just type in 1.5 for one photo and 1.7 for another.

Not sure how the whole process works?
  1. Log into your account at www.VisualTour.com

  2. From the My Account page, click My Tours.

  3. Click the PHOTOS button next to the tour you want to edit.

  4. Renumber the photos/scenes as desired.

  5. Click SAVE in the upper right.
The photos will be renumbered using whole numbers automatically. If you have ideas that you feel would make your VisualTour experience easier, be sure to email suggestions@VisualTour or post your request on our forum's Enhancement Requests area.
