Default Inventory List: Complete list of ways to show only tours that meet certain criteria

The basic way to display a list of your tours is to create a button or text link that points to http://www.visualtour.com/inventory.asp?u=2296, but substituting "2296" with your account number, which is visible at the top of the screen when you log into VisualTour.com and view your "Profile."

2014 update: To display tours that only meet certain criteria, most people will choose to go to their tour dashboard, click the Viewer option, and set up a filter with the desired criteria.  (Click Here for step by step). They can then return to the list of tours, click any tour, and then use the Link Builder feature to get the link for that particular filter. Prior to the filter feature's existence, people would have to build links manually. You still can if you need something very customized. The following link parameters will help you, but be aware that the parameters below do not work on mobile devices at this time, whereas filters do.

This memo will show you how to display just the tours that meet specific criteria, for example: only homes in a certain price range. It will also show you how to specify in what order the tours appear, for example: sorted by price, date, or type of property.

Be sure to also read our Customizing the Inventory List memo for information on altering the color scheme of the inventory list as well as adding background and header graphics.

Searchable Criteria: (multiple criteria can be combined using the ampersand "&" character)
U= User ID You can find your user ID on your "My Profile" page online.  You must specify either the U= or the B= or the O= criteria when displaying your inventory list.  Inventories from multiple accounts can be displayed on one list by separating the account numbers with commas.

Sample:
http://www.visualtour.com/inventory.asp?U=2296
but change the account number from 2296 to yours.

B= Broker ID You can find your broker ID on your "My Profile" page online.  You must specify either the U= or the B= or O= criteria when displaying your inventory list.  Inventories from multiple accounts can be displayed on one list by separating the account numbers with commas.

Sample:
http://www.visualtour.com/inventory.asp?B=2568
but change the account number from 2568 to yours.

O= Office ID You can find each office ID on your "Office Management" page online.  You must specify either the U= or the B= or the O= criteria when displaying your inventory list.  Inventories from multiple offices can be displayed on one list by separating the office ID numbers with commas.

Sample:
http://www.visualtour.com/inventory.asp?O=11
but change the office numbers from 11 to yours.

MP= Minimum Price To display only tours for homes priced over $100,000, use
http://www.visualtour.com/inventory.asp?u=2296&MP=100000
but change the account number from 2296 to yours.
XP= Maximum Price To display only tours for homes priced under $200,000, use
http://www.visualtour.com/inventory.asp?u=2296&XP=200000
but change the account number from 2296 to yours.
BD= Minimum Bedrooms To display only tours for homes with at least 4 bedrooms, use
http://www.visualtour.com/inventory.asp?u=2296&BD=4
but change the account number from 2296 to yours.
BA= Minimum Bathrooms To display only tours for homes with at least 3 bathrooms, use
http://www.visualtour.com/inventory.asp?u=2296&BA=3
but change the account number from 2296 to yours.
SF= Minimum Square Footage To display only tours for homes with at least 3000 square feet, use
http://www.visualtour.com/inventory.asp?u=2296&SF=3000
but change the account number from 2296 to yours.
S= Sort Method

S2=Secondary Sort Method

S3=Tertiary Sort Method

1=price (1a=ascending, 1d=descending)
2=date (2a=ascending, 2d=descending)
3=status (3a=ascending, 3d=descending)
4=property type (4a=ascending, 4d=descending)

To sort your list of tours by date, for example, use
http://www.visualtour.com/inventory.asp?u=2296&S=2a
to show oldest tours first (ascending dates) or

http://www.visualtour.com/inventory.asp?u=2296&S=2d
to show newest tours first (descending dates)

and combining criteria, use
http://www.visualtour.com/inventory.asp?u=2296&S=2d&S2=1d
to show newest tours first (descending dates) but in the event of two tours having the same date, place the highest priced properties first.

As stated for all examples, remember to change the account number from 2296 to yours.

SS= Sale Status 0=active
1=pending
2=sold
3=off market

To display only active listings instead of all listings, use
http://www.visualtour.com/inventory.asp?u=2296&SS=0
but change the account number from 2296 to yours.

LP= Number of Listings Per Page To display only 5 tours per page along with a NEXT option to see more, use
http://www.visualtour.com/inventory.asp?u=2296&LP=5
but change the account number from 2296 to yours.
PT= Property Type 0=single family
1=condo
2=townhouse
3=manufactured/mobile home
4=commercial-office
5=commercial-retail
6=apartment/multifamily
7=vacant land
8=vacation
9=property management
10=community tour
11=other
12=villa
13=agricultural
14=co-op
15=rental

To display only tours of vacation properties, use
http://www.visualtour.com/inventory.asp?u=2296&PT=8
but change the account number from 2296 to yours.

ZP= Zip Code To display only tours of properties in zip code 33071, use
http://www.visualtour.com/inventory.asp?u=2296&ZP=33071
but change the account number from 2296 to yours.
UF1= User Field 1

UF2=User Field 2

UF3=User Field 3

The parameters for the UF1 through UF3 fields are user defined and are intended for filtering out specific types of properties. For example, if you use UF1 to contain the number of cars that fit in the garage and UF2 to contain the type of waterfront property, you might use these parameters.

UF1 Sample (garage)
0=no garage
1=1 car garage
2=2 car garage
3=3 car garage
4=4 or more car garage

UF2 Sample (type of waterfront)
0=not waterfront
1=pool home
2=lakefront
3=pool AND lake
4=oceanfront
5=pool and ocean
6=other waterfront

If those were your fields and you wanted to see a list of your inventory for all homes that had a 2 car garage, you would use
http://www.visualtour.com/inventory.asp?u=2296&UF1=2
but change the account number from 2296 to yours.

For a list of homes with a pool, use
http://www.visualtour.com/inventory.asp?u=2296&UF2=1
but change the account number from 2296 to yours.

Remember, you can use multiple criteria by separating them with the ampersand (and) character.  For example, you can combine the samples shown above for homes with a minimum price of $100,000 and a maximum of $200,000 by specifying both criteria as follows.
http://www.visualtour.com/inventory.asp?U=2296&MP=100000&XP=200000

You can choose to create buttons to point to as many or as few criteria as desired. You cannot, however, use the same criteria twice in the same link (except as noted for the sort method, which allows S2, and S3 and the user defined fields, UF1 through UF3, which use 3 separate fields).  For example, you cannot add "&ZP=33157&ZP=33189" to include all homes in two adjoining zip codes.
