Cool Dark Room Fixes

It happens to everybody once in a while. You have your camera; you have the flash on, you’re ready to take the picture… Click! But when you look at the results they are as dark as a cave. What happened? Normally, if the room has bright windows and you have an automatic digital camera, the camera will try to compensate for the light coming from the outside by darkening the rest of the photo.

Another reason dark photos described in the previous post.

If the camera flash setting is set to Automatic(Default setting for most cameras), the light sensor on the camera will detect enough light coming thru the window and turn off the flash for that photo. Learning how to adjust the camera's flash setting to "ON" or covering the light sensor with a finger for just that photo will help lessen the chance of a dark photo.
