Default Create a Graphical VisualTour inventory button for your signature - Windows Mail

How To: Create a Graphical VisualTour inventory button for your signature in Windows Mail.

1. Log into your VisualTour account as normal. Click here to access the VisualTour login page.

2. Under Account Setup, click on My Profile. Write down your account number, you will need it later.

3. Highlight the source code below, then right click on it, left click on Copy.

4. Open Windows Notepad by clicking on your Start menu. In the white line (Start Search) area, type notepad.exe and press Enter.

5. Create your signature and paste the source code where you would like the inventory button to appear (Please see below example). To paste your source code, click Edit on the top menu bar of Notepad and choose Paste.

[B]Note:[/B] You must use <br> at the end of each line to insert a "line break" or your signature will all be on one line.

Note: You will need to change the [B]XXXXXX[/B] in the source code to the account number you wrote down at the beginning of this guide.

6. Click File on the top menu bar of Notepad and click on Save As. Navigate to where you want to save the signature file (Documents is recommended.) Name this file Signature.htm and click Save to save it to the selected location.

Creating the signature in Windows Mail.

1. Open Windows Mail.

2. Click Tools on the top menu bar of Windows Mail and choose Options.

3. Click on the Signatures tab located at the top of the Options window.

4. Click the New Button. Under Edit Signature, choose the radio button for File. Click the Browse button and navigate to the location of the saved signature file. Change the file type (bottom right corner) from Text Documents (*.txt) to HTML Files (*.htm, *.html). Highlight the signature.htm file and click Open.

5. Click on Apply, click OK.

6. Click on Create Mail in the upper left hand corner to display the email with signature
