Default "No Floppy Drive Detected" Error Message When Making Tours on Disks

When using the tour guide to place a tour on diskette, it is possible that the tour guide will display an error saying that no floppy drive was detected on the computer. The most common reason for this error is that the floppy drive is not a standard floppy drive, but instead an LS-120 drive, which accepts standard 1.44MB floppy disks as well as 120MB disks.

Regardless of why the error comes up, it is easy to bypass. When the tour guide asks whether the tour should be copied to a floppy disk or the hard drive, choose the option for the hard drive. A dialog box will come up asking where to save the tour. From the drop down list of drive letters, choose the A drive (or whatever drive letter is used by your drive). Click OK to save the tour (and the setup file if you elected to include it).

That is all it takes to get the tour copied onto the floppy drive that is not detected.
